Ontario is the province's premier horticultural association. With
more than 2000 members, we represent wholesale growers, garden centres,
landscape designers, landscape contractors, grounds maintenance firms,

Mission - The
mission of Landscape Ontario is to be the leader in representing,
promoting and fostering a favourable climate for the advancement
of the horticultural industry in Ontario. Put simply, we are here
to advance the horticulture industry.

of directors, eight regional chapters, eight commodity groups, 16

Bridge Corporate Profile
Career Bridge
is a new internship program for internationally qualified and trained
professionals ready to apply their skills to the Canadian workforce.
The Career Bridge program, which will officially roll-out in May
2004, helps employers tap into Canada's newest resource - a talented
pool of highly qualified, professional-level immigrants with international
business experience. Each candidate is pre-screened for high-level
English language skills and has at least three years of international
work experience along with verified post-secondary education from
outside Canada.
Career Bridge
builds on the success of Career Edge, a private-sector, not-for-profit
organization launched in 1996 to develop and manage innovative internship
programs across Canada. Over 900 progressive employers across Canada
use Career Edge internships as a low-risk, cost-effective way to
recruit new talent, increase diversity and support the growth of
Canada's workforce. Since its inception, Career Edge has worked
to provide meaningful work experience for almost 6,000 graduates
across the full spectrum of Canada's business community.
